The practice
What am I describing if the target is secret?
You're not told. A Target arrives as a bare code: no image, no category, no hint. You describe whatever comes to you about the image you'll eventually be shown. The platform never tells you, before or after, what the target itself represented.
Where do targets come from?
Each Target is tied to a real-world event that resolves within about 72 hours. The outcome is determined in public, by parties independent of Cognisentum, so nobody here decides whether your session scored. The specific sources stay confidential while the pilot runs: sessions must stay blind, and a known source would let people game the pool.
Why can't I see the result immediately?
Your session is sealed the moment you lock it in, and the reveal only happens after the underlying uncertainty actually resolves, sometimes minutes later, sometimes longer. Seeing the result early would let you, or anyone, game the instrument; sealing first is what makes the score mean anything.
How do reveals work?
Once a Target's uncertainty resolves, its Session unseals: you see the winning image, your score for that session, and which of your answers matched it. You still never learn what the image represented, only whether your description favored it.
Scores & payment
How is the 0-1000 rating calculated?
Each decisive resolved result enters your rating exactly once. Remote Viewing is applied when you open its reveal; Dowsing is applied automatically when the underlying uncertainty resolves, even if you have not opened the image yet. An unclear abstention does not enter the rating. Favoring the winning image counts as a match, favoring the other image as a miss, and an exact Remote Viewing tie as neutral. The rating combines applied results with exponentially fading weights and computes the highest score supported by that evidence. The first favorable applied result can move the provisional score to 100. During the first 25 applied results, a miss leaves that provisional score unchanged; after the opening period, misses can lower it. A miss can never produce a positive rating change.
What do 600 and 1000 mean mathematically?
600 means the data supports, at 95% one-sided confidence, that your current underlying match rate is at least 50%. From 600 upward, both requirements rise smoothly. At 1000 the requirement is 99% confidence that the current match rate is at least 65%. These are confidence-adjusted evidence levels, not a claim that a score of 700 literally means 70% accuracy. For example, a stable 55% pattern models around the low 600s, while a stable 70% pattern models near 1000 after enough resolved sessions.
How quickly do old sessions lose influence?
Only newly applied decisive results make old evidence fade. A result retains half its original weight after 173 newer applied results, and the rating's effective history approaches about 500 sessions. Nothing falls merely because you take a break. As a worked example, a long-established 70% pattern models near 996; after switching to a 50% pattern it models around 948 after 25 new results, 833 after 100, 746 after 173, and 549 after 500. Actual accounts vary because their result order varies.
What is the 600 line?
600 is the earn line. At or above it, every accepted session adds to your pending earnings, and your evidence is strong enough to fill paid readings. It is not permanent: because the rating represents current demonstrated ability, sufficiently poor new results can take it below 600 again.
How do I qualify to withdraw payment?
You must continuously hold one score threshold across its full run of qualifying decisive applied results: 600+ for 450 sessions, 650+ for 250, 700+ for 75, 750+ for 20, or 800+ for 10. All five counters run in parallel and use the score after each applied result. If a 700 reader drops to 680, the 700 counter resets but the 650 and 600 counters continue; below 600, every counter resets. Completing a run records payment qualification. The current rates and the payment terms in full are published on the Earnings page, and the first payout run follows the first qualified readers.
How much does a session pay?
The current rates are published. The rate card on the Earnings page reads out what any score pays per 100 completed targets, from 600 upward, and a higher score pays more because it is harder evidence. These are current rates: they follow market conditions and can move up or down, and the rates in force when you complete a target are the ones that apply.
When does the first payment run happen?
The payment terms are settled and published on the Earnings page: monthly payouts, a $100 rollover minimum, and redemption by an email link. What has not happened yet is a payout run, because that follows the first qualified readers. When it runs, pending earnings accrued above the line become withdrawable for qualified readers, and everything earned above 600 counts, including what was earned before.
Are there regions payouts cannot reach?
Yes. Payouts cannot be sent to regions under international sanctions: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Yemen. A small number of other regions may be out of reach depending on what the payout provider covers. Region affects only the sending of money: qualification and pending earnings accrue the same everywhere.
What are pending earnings?
Pending earnings are what your accepted sessions above the earn line have accrued, denominated in US dollars. Earning starts the day your score crosses 600, and the rates in force when a target is completed are the ones that apply. Running targets never costs you anything: nothing is spent here and there is nothing to buy. The balance becomes withdrawable at the monthly payout runs, under the terms on the Earnings page, with anything under $100 rolling over to the next run.
The platform
Is this gambling?
No. Nothing is staked, and there's no chance-based prize to win. Every session's score is a graded measurement, not a bet. Cognisentum is a skill-evidence platform: your rating reflects a sustained pattern, not a single roll.
Why keep the outcome sources confidential?
Because naming even the class of source would let a motivated reader narrow the target space, and that would contaminate everyone's sessions. Blinding is the foundation of the instrument. The scoring side is fully open to scrutiny instead: how the rating moves, what the statistical floor means, and how sessions aggregate.
Does a higher rating earn more?
Yes. Below the 600 line, sessions are free practice and nothing pays. Above it, verified sessions earn, and what a session earns rises with how high the rating stands: a higher rating is harder evidence, and harder evidence is worth more to the people funding readings. The current rate card is on the Earnings page, per 100 completed targets.
Who posts targets?
Requesters do: the party behind each Target's underlying uncertainty. They stay anonymous to you, and you stay anonymous to them. You never learn what a target represents, and that isn't a limitation of the product. The blindness is the method itself.
When do commissions open?
Commissioning is limited for now, and every paid target is a commissioned question. Anyone will be able to commission a reading on any question that can be put to outcomes. Join the waitlist on the Commission page to be notified when it opens to the public.
Data
What happens to my voice or audio?
None is stored. Quick-mode sessions are tap-only, so there's no audio to begin with. No recording of you exists on Cognisentum at any stage.
Can I change my Handle?
Yes, anytime, from Settings. Your Handle labels your private target and reveal screens; your signed-in email stays in private account controls.
